Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I have a wedding video?
Well really, why shouldn't you?  You have spent ages planning every single aspect of one of the most important days in your life and when the day you've been longing for is finally here, it is all over in the blink of an eye!  A video gives you the opportunity to relive that special moment over and over again.  To see each person's expression and reaction in a way you never could have.  To share that moment with friends and family for generations to come.  To have your story preserved in a way that brings you back to that day and makes you feel every smile, kiss and every happy tear all over again.  Ask any married couple and they will surely tell you - video is one of the most important (and overlooked) aspects of a wedding and can sometimes be the biggest regret when this aspect is left out!

I haven't budgeted for a video and it's far too expensive
This is sadly a misconception that many have, to the point that this cost is never even an option pursued when budgeting for a wedding.  I must admit that we did the same for our own wedding and only when we spoke with friends and family that deeply regretted this decision in their own wedding planning, we decided to pursue this option.  We understand that budget is a huge factor when planning a wedding and costs can very easily add up so we have created fantastic packages to suit every budget and pride ourselves on the flexibility and personalized services offered to give you the perfect video that you will treasure for a lifetime!

I already have a photographer and a family member will probably bring their camcorder anyway so why should I bother hiring a videographer?
A photograph and a video are not comparable, yet both are as important as the other.  A beautiful moment frozen in time is, of course, a treasured and tangible keepsake of your wedding but breathing life into that moment makes a completely different experience and neither can replace the other.
Of course a family member or a friend can film your wedding on their camcorder and I know this is not an uncommon practice (I am regularly contacted by many people that want this amateur footage edited into the wedding video they never had and wish they did!)...just always remember, that 'favor' can result in many missed moments and unusable footage of your important day.

I don't want a cheesy wedding video with dated graphics and corney music that I'll probably only watch once
Neither did we!  Of course those options are available if that's what you wanted (not by us!), but of all the feelings we want you to experience when you watch your video, cringing is not one of them!  We will meet with you prior to filming and editing to get to know you in attempt to reflect your unique personalities in the video produced.  Our aim is to give you a wedding video that you will watch over and over again and one that your friends and family will actually enjoy watching too!   And so far, that's the feedback we've received!  We are constantly pushing ourselves to be the best and use up-to-date professional equipment in order to give you the most amazing viewing experience we can provide!

Video cameras are large and intrusive.  I'm not comfortable being filmed and I don't want my guests to feel uncomfortable either
We agree!  This is why this aspect has been a major factor considered in the equipment we use.  The natural moment always disappears when a bright light and giant camera points at you to 'do something'.  A video camera will always get the true moment and perhaps subconsicously, people freeze at that reality...but this 'true moment' is a beautiful thing!  In an attempt to capture these real, unscripted moments, we use relatively small and unintrusive professional video equipment so that, for the most part, we can go unnoticed when filming.   This also helps guests to feel more relaxed during video interviews which makes for better footage and overall guest experience at your wedding!  We also believe it is very important to meet with you prior to your wedding to discuss the set up and process of the day so that you are comfortable and we can be as subtle as possible while getting the footage needed for your perfect video!

Do you film in other destinations besides Barbados?
We certainly can!  Our fantastic rates will also remain the same however, all travel/accommodation and related expenses would be the responsibility of the Client.
